Product planning, mapping, product design.

Polaris Desktop is a SaaS platform designed to unify the deployment, monitoring, and management of containerized workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP within a single, security-first interface. The product was created to address a growing challenge for enterprise teams operating in multi-cloud environments: fragmented tooling, inconsistent governance, and limited visibility across dynamic container infrastructures. As organizations scale across providers, managing security posture, observability, and operational workflows through separate cloud consoles introduces risk and inefficiency.

In this project, I led the product design and experience strategy for Polaris Desktop, shaping how users interact with complex multi-cloud infrastructure through a cohesive and intuitive interface. I worked closely with stakeholders to define the product vision, identify key operational pain points, and translate technical requirements into clear workflows. My focus was on abstracting away provider-specific complexity while preserving the flexibility and control that cloud engineers expect. The resulting platform provides a unified dashboard that aggregates container health, cloud resources, security signals, and operational telemetry across environments. Users can deploy, scale, and manage containerized workloads without switching between cloud vendor tools. Real-time monitoring and alerting centralize logs and performance metrics, while policy-driven security controls ensure consistent governance across providers. By embedding observability and security into the core experience, Polaris Desktop helps teams maintain control over rapidly changing infrastructure without increasing cognitive load.

The impact of this work was a streamlined, scalable platform that reduces operational overhead and improves visibility across distributed systems. Polaris Desktop enables teams to manage multi-cloud container deployments with confidence, reinforcing a security-first approach while simplifying day-to-day workflows.
